So....big ol' announcement about adding some lovely ladies (or some not so lovely ladies) to my gallery and how it will help spur interest....only to find I haven't done it yet. Why? Work. Yes, as is the case with software development the months before Siggraph or the months before release (whichever come first) are always the hardest on your time. It's nearly 3 a.m. here in the not so big apple and I am just now finishing up work I'd been doing over the weekend. worst part is I have to start the work for the week now. Yes, I'm behind. Shut-up.
In other news, family from the Bahamas (whom I've not seen since I was fresh out of diapers) have begun actively seeking my family out. I'm pretty excited about it, actually. My family has always been islanders - heck, I even live on an island - but seeing pics of them relaxing on the beach makes me both envious and wistful. Here's hoping we'll get a chance to meet in person once the final push is done at work.
Speaking of completely random sudden interest in my person, old high school classmates have started popping up and saying hello online. They've even managed to convince me to join facebook - something I promised myself I wouldn't do (yeah, I'm a sell-out). My highschool crush is now a mommy, happily betrothed and just as visually deadly as ever. sigh. lol. Seriously though, it's nice to see the ol' gang hasn't changed much - especially since I was out of the country for our class reunion.
I'm running out of things to say that you won't actually care about here...hmmm. There's going to be a new GIJOE animated movie - and this one looks not to suck. My sister's throwing a SingStar party...I am apparently attending on pain of death (or so my mom told me).I love making salmon and playing Spades with my cousins has proven that being unlucky in love does not actually make you lucky at cards. Go figure. I don't eat 'em but I've often wondered why we build machines to punch holes in donuts? (I meant I don't eat donuts, not the hole mach - you know what, never mind) I mean, you're paying for damaged goods. Why not just make the whole thing instead of punching a hole in it? Last random thought - why is it folks in movies almost never use umbrellas...are they immune to the common cold? My pants say yes.
Do not ignore my pants!
