Well, the second day of Comic Con has come to an end and my body feels as though I were in a fight and lost. Likely to do with two 40-inch-Tube-based-TV-sized boxes I had to move when the software we didn't have available to sell finally arrived at my co-worker's hotel. Being a native New Yorker and a habitually nice guy, I volunteered to pick them up - yes, I know...stupid. Anyway, soreness notwithstanding, I managed to get through the day and meet two of the most entertaining and interesting people I've met in some time. I speak of the ever talented

and her wonderful sister/letterer. They managed to make a day of pain become a day of laughter and joy. So a big thank you to the ladies, it was truly my pleasure.
In other related news - WHERE IS EVERYBODY! lol. I took a trip around the floor to say hi to my artist pals, ran into Keron Grant and Khoi Pham but couldn't find Brian Haberlin (I owe him lunch), the entire Image booth, Spiderguile and all the other deviants and excellent artists I've been wanting to meet up with. You guys must be hiding from me. :/ I did run into the amazing

briefly also but come on gang. I'm longing for an art jam. Let's break out those sketch books and burn some lead...or carbon...or whatever that stuff in the pencil is. Burn IT I SAY!
In all fairness, I'm a bit tied to the desk, as we're shorter staffed this year than we were the year before and not all of us know the programs as well as I do (the advantage of a tech-support background). I will try again on Sunday to steal away and at the very least, shake the hand of many a deviant and Pro walking the floor.
Until then,
Teyon.
Let's do it better next year!
