Anyone have any features they want to see in the next Manga Studio? I'll pass 'em on...who knows, we could get lucky.
  • Listening to: Castle
  • Reading: The Hunger Games
  • Watching: Castle
  • Playing: With Ideas
  • Eating: Something that was alive but is now dead.
  • Drinking: Freshly squeezed innards of the above.

The ability to scale, or otherwise transform ruler layers would be great too.

If I decide a background needs to be smaller or flipped there's not an easy way to adjust the perspective rulers short of resetting everything by hand.

A script layer. Or better capacity in the current text layer.

I like to have a layer that is just the current page's script that I can refer to(turn off and on) as I work without leaving the page or program.

I typically just paste from my word doc into a text layer with a solid white bg layer but it costs me time to format to fit in that layer and sometimes I meet the character capacity and have to create a few text layers to do it.

ideally there would just be a notes or script layer that behaved mor eliek a word file or even the text layer in Photoshop.

Does that make sense?

I think it does but I just want to make sure - are you trying to use a single text layer per a page. That was never meant to be the way it worked if so. At any rate, I've added it to the list that I'll be sending my bosses today. :D

So here is a page I just finished:

And here is the same page with the script layer turned on: [link]

I hit the limits of the text layer all the time since it's only intended for individual balloons so it would be nice to be able to create a layer like this where I can put the script from the writer to refer to while I work. I don't letter my own work typically but I do refer to the writer's script constantly.

I think that's what the Story Editor was supposed to do but falls short. Anyway, it's way clearer now. Thanks!
